The General Board of Global Ministries is the global mission agency of The United Methodist Church, its annual conferences, missionary conferences, and local congregations.   

The purpose of the General Board of Global Ministries is found within the expression of the total mission of the Church. It is a missional instrument of The United Methodist Church, its annual conferences, missionary conferences, and local congregations in the context of a global setting.    

The United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries sponsors programs, projects and training sessions in relief, church construction, community-health programs and personnel assignments in the United States and all over the world. 

The Global Health team focuses on easing the ability for partners within the United States and abroad to implement projects that guarantee the opportunity to provide health services to those in need ranging from Malaria, HIV, Maternal and Newborn Child Health, W.A.S.H, and Non-Communicable diseases.
